‘жеребенок’, буквально „предназначенный для верховой езды“ (-<hi rendition="#rend_italic">ag</hi> — суффикс,
выражающий предназначение) и <ref type="xr" target="#entry_baræg"/> ‘всадник’.

this stem are not in usage in Ossetic but there are found two participle stems:
with the suffix -<hi rendition="#rend_italic">ag</hi> and with the suffix <hi rendition="#rend_italic">æg</hi>: <hi rendition="#rend_italic">bajrag</hi> (with a regular
apperance of <hi rendition="#rend_italic">j</hi> in front of <hi rendition="#rend_italic">r</hi>) foal, literally "aimed for riding"
(-<hi rendition="#rend_italic">ag</hi> is a suffix expressing purpose) and <ref type="xr" target="#entry_baræg"/> horseman. Cf. <mentioned corresp="#mentioned_d4358e185" xml:id="mentioned_d4358e240" xml:lang="pal"><lang/>
