как в форме сильной основы (<hi rendition="#rend_italic">don-ʒaw, xos-ʒaw, bon-caw</hi> [см. <ref type="xr" target="#entry_boncaw"/> соответственно] и др.), так и слабой; ср. кроме

||
<hi rendition="#rend_italic">cærdʒū</hi> еще <hi rendition="#rend_italic">fad-ʒū</hi> [см. <ref type="xr" target="#entry_fadʒū"/>] ‘ход
|
||
шагом’, <hi rendition="#rend_italic">xæd-ʒū</hi> [см. <ref type="xr" target="#entry_xædʒū"/>] ‘идущий сам (без
|
||
приглашения)’ и др.</etym>

<etym xml:lang="en">The composition of <ref type="xr" target="#entry_card"/> ‘life’
|
||
and <hi rendition="#rend_italic">cū</hi> (the weak grade of the stem of the verb <ref type="xr" target="#entry_cæwyn"/> ‘go’); it is in fact “lead (in search of food) a
|
||
wandering life”. The verb <ref type="xr" target="#entry_cæwyn"/> is found in
|
||
compounds in its strong grade (<hi rendition="#rend_italic">don-ʒaw, xos-ʒaw, bon-caw</hi> [see <ref type="xr" target="#entry_boncaw"/> соответственно] etc.), and its weak grade as well;
|
||
cf. except for <hi rendition="#rend_italic">cærdʒū</hi> also <hi rendition="#rend_italic">fad-ʒū</hi> [see <ref type="xr" target="#entry_fadʒū"/>] ‘walking by step’, <hi rendition="#rend_italic">xæd-ʒū</hi> [see <ref type="xr" target="#entry_xædʒū"/>] ‘coming by oneself (without invitation)’
