<ref type="xr" target="#entry_7xsynyn"><w>xsynyn</w></ref> | <hi rendition="#rend_italic">æxsinun</hi> ‘to gnaw’ is not separable from <hi rendition="#rend_italic">ixsyjyn</hi>. They relate to each other as a medial

form to a causative one (<hi rendition="#rend_italic">ixsyjyn</hi> ‘to exhaust’
|
||
— <hi rendition="#rend_italic">xsynyn</hi> ‘to make exhausted’ → ‘to gnaw’); cf.
