или травы, который мог служить и как перевязь снопа и как затычка для кувшина,
бутылки и т. п. Поэтому закономерно, что ос. <ref type="xr" target="#entry_kʼærmæg"/> ‘затычка’ отвечает в <mentioned corresp="#mentioned_d3699e156" xml:id="mentioned_d3699e115" xml:lang="krc-x-balkar"><lang/>

<etym xml:lang="en">From etymological point of view, this word should be united with
<ref type="xr" target="#entry_kʼærmæg"/> plug: both mean a twisted cord
made of straw or grass, which could serve both as a sheaf band and as a plug for
a jug, a bottle, etc. Thus, it is regular that Ossetic <ref type="xr" target="#entry_kʼærmæg"/> plug corresponds to <mentioned corresp="#mentioned_d3699e115" xml:id="mentioned_d3699e156" xml:lang="krc-x-balkar"><lang/>
<w>gərmək, kərmək</w>
