Ws. <hi rendition="#rend_smallcaps">Miller</hi>'s etymology (<bibl><ref type="bibl" target="#ref_Miller._Gr."/><biblScope>59</biblScope></bibl>: Old Indic <hi rendition="#rend_italic">kampatē</hi> (s)he is
trembling, Greek <hi rendition="#rend_italic">κάμπτω</hi> I am bending) is improbable.</etym>
