to Old Persian: from <mentioned corresp="#mentioned_d563e549" xml:id="mentioned_d563e815" xml:lang="x-oldirn"><w type="rec">nauča-</w></mentioned>
one would have had Ossetic <w type="rec" xml:lang="os-x-iron">nūʒ</w>
<w type="rec" xml:lang="os-x-digor">noʒ</w>, likewise <mentioned corresp="#mentioned_d563e559" xml:id="mentioned_d563e825" xml:lang="x-oldirn"><w>rauča-</w></mentioned> would give rise to <c>rūʒ-</c> | <c>roʒ-</c> (cf. <ref type="xr" target="#entry_rūʒyng"/>), from <mentioned corresp="#mentioned_d563e569" xml:id="mentioned_d563e835" xml:lang="x-oldirn"><w>sauča-</w></mentioned> one would have had <c>sūʒ-</c> | <c>soʒ-</c> (cf. <ref type="xr" target="#entry_sūʒyn"/>). Thus, the only option is to assume that either a
parallel form like <mentioned corresp="#mentioned_d563e579" xml:id="mentioned_d563e845" xml:lang="x-oldirn"><w type="rec">naču-</w></mentioned>,
