probably a "Megrelism" (cf.<bibl><ref type="bibl" target="#ref_ОЯФ_I"/><biblScope xml:lang="en">I 323 ff.</biblScope></bibl>). A Georgian ejective consonant in

<w>čʼeri</w></mentioned>corresponds to a usual <hi rendition="#rend_italic">с</hi> in Ossetic, like in

<w>čʼarxali</w></mentioned> or in <ref type="xr" target="#entry_cænd"/> a
