‘конопля’. Вторая часть <ref type="xr" target="#entry_tag"/> также известна со
значением ‘нить’, ‘полоса’. Все вместе означает, стало быть, ‘конопляная нить’
или ‘ткань’. Ср. по образованию <ref type="xr" target="#entry_zældag"/> ‘шелк’

<gloss><q>hemp</q></gloss></mentioned>. This word is present in Ossetic with
the vocalization of the initial consonant: <ref type="xr" target="#entry_gæn"/>
hemp. The second part <ref type="xr" target="#entry_tag"/> is also present, it
means thread, stripe. Thus, altogether it means hemp thread or fabric.
