the stem <mentioned xml:lang="sa-vaidika"><w>pi<?oxy_comment_start author="oleg" timestamp="20240214T170812+0300" comment="check phonetics and also what lect/reconstruction exactly this form is meant to represent"?>ś<?oxy_comment_end ?>-</w>,
attested in the Rig-Veda: <gloss><q rendition="#rend_doublequotes">cut into
pieces (e.g. meat)</q></gloss></mentioned>. Despite the great
semantic divergence, it is tempting to consider here also <mentioned corresp="#mentioned_d5309e142" xml:id="mentioned_d5309e212" xml:lang="kho"><lang/>
