<etym xml:lang="en">It is a compounding of <ref type="xr" target="#entry_sær"/>
<gloss><q>head</q></gloss> and <ref type="xr" target="#entry_fad"/>
<gloss><q>foot</q></gloss>: where <q rendition="#rend_doublequotes">head</q> and <q rendition="#rend_doublequotes">feet</q>, the start and the end, are clearly recognized,
there are sense and order. They say about very drunk person: <mentioned xml:lang="os"><phr>jæ sær, jæ fad nal ænibary</phr>
<gloss><q rendition="#rend_doublequotes">he already doesn't feel his head nor his
foot</q></gloss></mentioned>; the compound <oRef/>, apparently, originated based on
such idioms. Cf. <mentioned xml:lang="x-balochi"><lang/>
<w>sarpadī</w>
<gloss><q>smart</q></gloss> in the phrase <phr>e zag sarpadī būt</phr>
