<etym xml:lang="ru">Интерес данного слова состоит в том, что образования на <mentioned xml:lang="os"><m>-gæ</m></mentioned> являются <emph>отглагольными</emph> c
причастно-деепричастным значением (<bibl><ref type="bibl" target="#ref_ГО"/>
<biblScope>§§ 112—114</biblScope></bibl>); ср. такие выражения как <mentioned xml:lang="os"><phr>læwgæ xox</phr>, <phr>cæwgæ mæsyg</phr>
<gloss><q rendition="#rend_doublequotes">стоящая гора, движущаяся

с именной основой <ref type="xr" target="#entry_wæz"><w>wæz</w>
<gloss><q>вес</q></gloss></ref> существовала глагольная <w type="rec">wæz-</w> (<w type="rec">wæzyn</w> | <w type="rec">wæzun</w>). Однако ни одна спрягаемая форма не

документирована. См. <ref type="xr" target="#entry_wæz"/>.</etym>

<etym xml:lang="en">The pecularity of this word is that the derivatives in <mentioned xml:lang="os"><m>-gæ</m></mentioned> are <emph>deverbal</emph> and have the meaning of a

participle-converb (<bibl><ref type="bibl" target="#ref_ГО"/>

<biblScope>§§ 112—114</biblScope></bibl>); cf. such expressions as <mentioned xml:lang="os"><phr>læwgæ xox</phr>, <phr>cæwgæ mæsyg</phr>
<gloss><q rendition="#rend_doublequotes">a standing mountain, a moving

along with the noun stem <ref type="xr" target="#entry_wæz"><w>wæz</w>
<gloss><q>weight</q></gloss></ref> existed the verbal one <w type="rec">wæz-</w> (<w type="rec">wæzyn</w> | <w type="rec">wæzun</w>). However, not a single conjugated form

is documented. See <ref type="xr" target="#entry_wæz"/>.</etym>
