неопределенным только смычногортанный <hi rendition="#rend_italic">kʼ</hi>; может быть, результат контаминации
с каким-нибудь кавказским словом.</etym>

consonant in the stem (<hi rendition="#rend_italic">kurraw</hi>), as in <ref type="xr" target="#entry_fæjjaw"/> etc., with regular change of <hi rendition="#rend_italic">rr</hi> into <hi rendition="#rend_italic">II</hi>, as <ref type="xr" target="#entry_syvællon"/> (<hi rendition="#rend_italic">kurraw</hi> → <hi rendition="#rend_italic">kʼullaw</hi>). Only glottal
occlusive <hi rendition="#rend_italic">kʼ</hi> remains uncertain; it may be the result of contamination
with some Caucasian word.</etym>
