<etym xml:lang="ru">От <ref type="xr" target="#entry_bon"/> ‘день’ с суффиксом
-<hi rendition="#rend_italic">ygon</hi> | -<hi rendition="#rend_italic">igon</hi>, который мы находим только при обозначениях времен суток и
времен года; ср. <ref type="xr" target="#entry_xsævygon"/> ‘ночью’, <ref type="xr" target="#entry_yzærygon"/> ‘вечером’, <ref type="xr" target="#entry_særdygon"/> ‘летом’, <ref type="xr" target="#entry_fæzzygon"/> ‘осенью’, <ref type="xr" target="#entry_walʒæg"><w>walʒygon</w></ref> ‘весной’. При ближайшем
рассмотрении мы должны признать в <hi rendition="#rend_italic">bonygon</hi>, <ref type="xr" target="#entry_xsævygon"/> только употребительный суффикс -<hi rendition="#rend_italic">on</hi>; что
касается элемента -<hi rendition="#rend_italic">yg</hi> | -<hi rendition="#rend_italic">ig</hi> (из -<hi rendition="#rend_italic">æg</hi>), то он появился здесь,
<ref type="xr" target="#entry_zymæg"/>).</etym>

<etym xml:lang="en">From <ref type="xr" target="#entry_bon"/> ‘day’ with the suffix
-<hi rendition="#rend_italic">ygon</hi> | -<hi rendition="#rend_italic">igon</hi> which is found only in the notions for dayparts and parts

of the year; cf. <ref type="xr" target="#entry_xsævygon"/> ‘at night’, <ref type="xr" target="#entry_yzærygon"/> ‘in the evening’, <ref type="xr" target="#entry_særdygon"/> ‘in summer’, <ref type="xr" target="#entry_fæzzygon"/> ‘in autumn’, <ref type="xr" target="#entry_walʒæg"><w>walʒygon</w></ref> ‘in spring’. Upon a closer view only a usual
suffix -<hi rendition="#rend_italic">on</hi> should be assumed in the words <hi rendition="#rend_italic">bonygon</hi>, <ref type="xr" target="#entry_xsævygon"/>, as for the element -<hi rendition="#rend_italic">yg</hi> | -<hi rendition="#rend_italic">ig</hi> (from
-<hi rendition="#rend_italic">æg</hi>), it appeared as an analogy with <ref type="xr" target="#entry_walʒæg"><w>walʒygon</w></ref> ‘in spring’, <ref type="xr" target="#entry_fæzzygon"/> ‘in autumn’, <ref type="xr" target="#entry_zymægon"/> ‘in winter’, where it is morphologically

reasonable (cf. <ref type="xr" target="#entry_zymæg"/>).</etym>
