The stem <hi rendition="#rend_italic">raiθ</hi>- (<mentioned corresp="#mentioned_d4158e270" xml:id="mentioned_d4158e346" xml:lang="ine"><lang/>
<w>*leith-</w></mentioned>) meant to go, to leave as medial verb, to
direct, to send, to dispatch as causative verb. Only causative meaning is
left in Ossetic. Compare <mentioned corresp="#mentioned_d4158e275" xml:id="mentioned_d4158e351" xml:lang="ae"><lang/>
